PBE Rutherford Mining is Australia's premier cable repair facility. Due to rapid growth, our Emerald Branch is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
Our Emerald operation services the surrounding mining regions and is the local industry's preferred supplier for the supply, repair, and disposal of trailing cables, feeder cables, and accessories used in coal and metalliferous mining.

About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position combining both Truck Driving and Labouring duties, based at our Emerald, QLD branch.
As our Truck Driver, you will safely and efficiently transport cables to and from customer sites and our workshop. You'll be the face of the company, so professional presentation and strong communication skills are essential.
As a Labourer, you will work within our workshop operations and be trained across all areas. All training is delivered on the job to ensure you meet both Australian and Company standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Transport damaged and repaired electrical mining cables between mine sites and our Emerald workshop
* Safely load and unload mining cables from company vehicles
* Maintain positive working relationships with customers
* Participate in workshop operations and gain exposure to cable repair processes

What You Need to Succeed
* Must live locally in the Emerald area (no FIFO/DIDO)
* Previous truck driving and labouring experience
* Strong understanding of safe work practices and manual handling
* Current MC Driver's Licence (essential)
* Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
