An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and highly organised Registered Nurse with leadership qualities to join the Intensive Care team at a private hospital in Sydney. It's a permanent full-time position.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As the ICU Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent patient care and safety standard and coordinating/supervising staffing and bed management within the ICU. You will be reporting to the Clinical Manager of Intensive Care Services.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 5 years of critical care experience;
- Experience in the coordination of patient flow, patient activity and staffing utilisation/rostering solutions;
- Knowledge of resources and the development of staff expertise in ICU;
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to engage and motivate staff within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Knowledge of budgets and legislative requirements;
- Understanding of Quality/ Continuous Improvement Processes and a commitment to the achievement of excellence;
- Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or working towards are highly desirable.

Hospital, located in Sydney, is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and obstetric services. The level 2 ICU has 19 beds and is an affiliated medical training facility (College of Intensive Care Medicine).
