We are seeking an experienced and influential Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead the operational, financial, technical, and people performance of a flagship corporate campus located in the heart of Melbourne's Docklands. This is a high‐visibility leadership role overseeing a blend of self‐delivered and outsourced services, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
As the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, you will shape the workplace experience, drive asset performance, and lead a multidisciplinary team committed to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership
Lead the delivery of all soft and technical services, ensuring a safe, compliant, and reliable operating environment.
Maintain full compliance with statutory, safety, and risk management obligations.
Oversee specialist technical partners and ensure high‐performing building operations.
People & Culture
Build and develop a high‐performing campus team with a strong service culture and attention to detail.
Drive positive employee engagement and support a safe, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.
Meet or exceed internal financial targets while delivering services within the customer's budget.
Identify opportunities for continuous financial improvement and asset optimisation.
Own and evolve the asset lifecycle strategy and Capital Investment Plan.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the central point of contact for senior customer stakeholders and campus leadership.
Foster strong relationships across workplace, property, and project teams.
Navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence and diplomacy.
What You'll Bring Experience & Technical Capability
Minimum 5 years' experience leading major multi‐service FM contracts.
Engineering qualifications with strong technical competency (essential).
Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and multidisciplinary teams.
Customer‐focused mindset with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
Excellent communication skills with resilience, organisation, and sound judgement.
Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate organisational politics effectively.
