Maintenance Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will work 40 hours per week on our night shift pattern and be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and undertake scheduled PPM'S in relevant timeframes.
* Respond to call outs/breakdowns/line stoppages in agreed timescales.
* Diagnose faults and repair equipment.
* Obtain specialist components/fixtures or fittings as required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
* Complete all required paperwork and ensure best practice is followed.
* Work towards 5S standards and promote them within the team.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to Kaizen events.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and identify training requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant technical knowledge with experience of M&E solutions.
* A proven track record of providing proactive and reactive maintenance solutions.
* Self-motivation and ability to work well under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
