Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician to join our team at one of our main dealerships across Victoria. As a key member of our aftersales support team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs, services, and inspections on a wide range of trucks.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Diagnostic analysis using the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment.
* Repairing and servicing engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs etc. on a variety of Volvo, Mack, and UD models.
* Producing clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out on repair orders including supplies used and recommendations.
* Providing support and guidance to Apprentice technicians.
* Participating in call outs / breakdowns as required.
We are looking for someone with:
* A minimum Certificate 3 Mechanical Trade certificate/qualification.
* Experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry.
* Experience with American, European or Japanese drivelines will be highly regarded.
* The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a customer-focused team.
* A current HC/HR drivers license an advantage.
* Pride in your work with an ability to work to targets and high standards.
* High levels of motivation, reliability, and a positive attitude.
* Effective communication skills with a commitment to workplace safety.
* Own tools.
