About the Role
This is a dual role initially encompassing People & Culture and general business support, with the opportunity for the position to grow and evolve over time into a pure People and Culture role as the business continues to expand.
The People & Culture Advisor leads the People & Culture function, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure the business excels in this area. The role helps shape a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace, fosters staff wellbeing and development programs, and drives initiatives that enhance the overall organisational experience for the team.
The Corporate Services part of the role supports and works closely with the broader team to provide support and assistance as required. This enables our technical teams and managers to focus on delivering quality outcomes for clients.
About You

Key Responsibilities
· Ownership of the People & Culture function.
· Develop and maintain company People & Culture policies and procedures.
· Owns, develops and maintains Human Resource Management System including maintaining team member records and compliance documentation.
· Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes, including contract and job description development, pre-employment testing and onboarding and induction activities.
· Coordinate the performance review and team development processes with Team Leaders and Managers.
· Support workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives and record keeping.
· Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and document control activities for the People & Culture function.
· Provide assistance and support across the business including Operations, Finance and Marketing.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Candidates with relevant qualifications and solid Human Resource experience are highly desired. However, candidates with substantial equivalent experience will also be considered.
· Bachelor of Human Resources or Bachelor of Business with Human Resources major; or
· Certificate IV in Human Resources or Diploma of Human Resources Management will also be considered.
· 3-5 years experience in a Human Resources/People and Culture role.
· 3-5 years experience in Business support and coordination preferably in the mining industry or other heavy industries.
Working Arrangements and Location
· This role will start as part-time (approximately 25-30 hours week), with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the business grows.
· The role is a hybrid one, working from both home and the company office on the Sunshine Coast.
