We are seeking an Associate Professor of Psychology to contribute to the growth and development of our psychology programs at UniSC's Moreton Bay campus.
About the Role
As a key member of our academic team, you will play a crucial role in leading and contributing to high-quality research in psychology. Your expertise will be essential in securing external funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to high-quality research in psychology, including securing external funding and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
* Deliver engaging, evidence-based teaching across undergraduate and/or postgraduate psychology programs.
* Supervise and mentor Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students and early-career academics.
* Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement of program content and delivery.
* Engage with professional, industry, and community partners to enhance the relevance and impact of the School's activities.
* Support academic leadership and participate in School and University governance and planning.
What We're Looking For
You should have a strong foundation in teaching and research in psychology. A passion for student learning, a collaborative approach, and an interest in contributing to the development of a growing campus and academic team are essential.
You will bring:
* A doctoral qualification in psychology, and relevant academic and research experience.
* A track record of research outputs, with success in attracting competitive research funding.
* Demonstrated excellence in learning and teaching, including curriculum design and innovation.
* Experience supervising HDR students and contributing to a collegial academic culture.
* A commitment to engaging with diverse communities and fostering inclusive learning environments.
