This is a newly created role designed to support the business's growth.
As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
You'll work closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, support data-driven decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly report pack with insightful commentary on variations and trends
Analyse business performance, cost drivers and margins
Lead the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes – ensuring alignment with business objectives
Develop dashboards for financial analysis and commercial evaluation
Drive process improvements, standardisation, and governance across finance systems
Work closely with the internal stakeholders to add value through reporting, analysis and process improvement
Provide backfill support for the Financial Accountant during period of leave
You'll bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or relevant role, ideally within FMCG, distribution, or a related industry
Advanced Excel and experience with BI tools (Phocas, Power BI – desirable)
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
A strategic mindset with the ability to connect operational performance to long-term business outcomes
Robust budgeting and forecasting experience
