Position Type: Permanent Full Time (9 day fortnight, 38 hours/week)
Salary Range: Base Salary $65,313 per annum + super, plus overtime and penalty rates dependent on work performed. Additional entitlements and overtime do not form part of the advertised base salary

Palmetum Botanical Gardens is a remarkable destination for nature enthusiasts covering almost 17 hectares and features a diverse collection of palms from various regions, including Australia. We’re looking for a hands‑on, reliable labourer to join our team at the Botanical Gardens.
In this role, you’ll help keep the grounds looking their best by supporting day‑to‑day maintenance, assisting horticultural staff, operating basic tools and equipment, and pitching in with landscape projects as needed. If you enjoy working outdoors in all weather, take pride in a hard day’s work, and have a strong eye for keeping natural spaces tidy and well‑presented, we’d love to hear from you.
This job suits someone who’s physically fit, safety‑minded, and keen to learn on the job as part of a friendly team.
Qualifications And Experience
To be eligible to apply for this role, you must have a Manual \"C\" class licence and a Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD).
