The Opportunity
As we grow our presence in China, we're looking for a driven, culturally fluent marketing professional to help lead that journey.This is a rare dual role part brand builder, part commercial operator. You'll develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the Chinese market, ensuring the Lorna Jane story lands with resonance, relevance, and impact.
Based in Brisbane at our HQ you will work closely with our marketing team and our China GM. You will act as the vital bridge between two markets translating a world-class brand into culturally compelling campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales growth.
What You'll do
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the Chinese consumer
* Localise brand messaging, product stories, and content for cultural relevance
* Identify seasonal, cultural, and commercial opportunities in the China market
* Support conversion of brand awareness into revenue across digital, e-commerce, and retail channelsMonitor trends in Chinese retail, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity
* Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership
* Collaborate with Australian marketing teams to ensure campaigns translate effectively
* Leverage China-relevant digital platforms to drive brand growth

About You
* Fluent in both Mandarin and English written and spoken
* Proven ability to translate Western brand positioning for Chinese audiences
* Experience in marketing, brand, or commercial roles with a China market focus
* Strong understanding of Chinese digital platforms and consumer behaviour
* Commercially minded you connect marketing activity to business outcomes
* A confident communicator who builds trust across cultures and time zones
* Results-oriented, resilient, and personally accountable
* Energised by brand purpose and motivated to grow something meaningful
