St Marys is within easy reach of several National Parksand world class mountain bike trails.St Marys Community Health Centre has an emergency room and 8 inpatient beds. The centre offers emergency, sub-acute and palliative care and a range of community and outpatient services which include community nursing, home help, an adult day centre, physiotherapy, social work, and child health. Other allied health services visit regularly. The Tasmanian Lymphedema Centre is also based at the facility.
