The Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to join our global team in Brisbane. The role will involve extensive interaction with stakeholders so we are seeking a professional, confident and solutions focussed individual. The role will support the firm's client/matter life cycle including:
* Matter tracking and monitoring
* Producing financial reports and analysis;
* Matter pricing and resource planning including reporting to business managers around compliance with pricing governance framework;
* Quality assurance for matter set up and commercial terms for high value matters and commercial arrangements.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
* Proven financial analysis skills and strong commercial acumen
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of programs in the Microsoft suite including Excel (vlookups and pivot tables), Power BI and a working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
* Prior experience in legal or professional services firm ideally
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
* Ability to identify and elevate areas of risk to the divisional business managers
* Experience with 3e or similar and IBM TM1 will be well regarded
