Our world class manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
About the role:
The Stores Officer is a key role for the ongoing success of the Bell Bay site. The role provides stores and purchasing expertise to support maximising plant life and availability. You will work in a support function to the site maintenance and production teams, ensuring that the daily purchasing, receipting and dispatch of goods and services is efficiently managed. Managing supplier relationships through management of back-order report, ensuring efficient delivery of critical spares is also a critical part of this role. This permanent, full time position reports directly to the Stores Manager and will be based at our Bell Bay manufacturing facility in Tasmania (approx. 40 minutes from Launceston).
Responsibilities
* Procurement of all goods and commodities within Pronto necessary to maintain effective, efficient, and profitable production.
* Monitor stock and inventory within the Bell Bay Business Unit to maintain required stock levels.
* Conduct analysis of purchasing patterns, processes, trends, and data.
* Daily purchasing, receipting and dispatch of goods internally and externally to the Bell Bay Business Unit.
* Manage supplier relationships through back-order reporting and ensure efficient delivery of critical spares.
Qualifications
* Previous proven experience in a similar warehouse/ inventory support role
* Current Drivers Licence
* Cert III in Warehousing Operations (Desirable)
* Advanced MS Office Skills
