This is a great opportunity for a generalist employment lawyer to join one of Melbourne's leading workplace relations practices, with an opportunity to develop their experience in industrial relations and enterprise bargaining.
The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly respected team, handling a diverse range of complex employment matters, with a strong emphasis on litigation, including before the Fair Work Commission and Federal Court. This will involve a variety of employment, discrimination, and industrial relations issues, serving clients across sectors such as health, education, construction, manufacturing, and finance.
You'll receive hands-on mentoring from senior partners, with a clear path for career progression in a collaborative and supportive environment. The role offers significant client contact, where you'll manage high-profile matters and provide tailored legal advice across various industries.
We're looking for a candidate with 2-4 years' PAE in employment law, ideally with exposure to industrial relations. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the team. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a solid understanding of the complexities of employment law are key.
