What's the role?
We're on the lookout for experienced and passionate Chefs living in or near Mackay to join our regional Queensland teams. These Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roles offer the chance to work locally while delivering high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents. Who are we looking for?
* Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery
* Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
* FIFO or remote site experience desirable, but not essential
* Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Flexible team player with strong communication skills
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
* Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship
Working on-site means 11-hour days on a 2:1 roster (two weeks on, one week off).
