Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher Opportunity
St Luke's College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities and Social Sciences teacher to join our vibrant community. We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Teach a range of HASS subjects, including History, Geography, Economics, and Civics, to students in Year 7-12
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs and abilities
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrates a profound knowledge of the Humanities and Social Sciences curriculum, including a clear understanding of key concepts, content, and assessment requirements
* The ability to teach a range of HASS subjects effectively, such as History, Geography, Economics, and Civics
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, which delivers engaging and interactive lessons aligned with the curriculum
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
* TRBWA registration or ability to obtain
* Minimum 4-year tertiary qualification in Education
* Relevant qualifications and teaching certification in Humanities
