This coastal clinic seeks a skilled family medicine specialist to meet patient demand.
A recent closure of a nearby practice has led to an increase in patients at this long-established practice. Following the retirement of four doctors, the clinic needs a new medical professional.
The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm with most appointments at 15-minute intervals. The doctors are fully booked two to three days ahead, with some appointments scheduled up to two weeks in advance.
No weekend work is required. As a private billing practice, medical professionals have discretion over billing and can choose to bulk bill if desired.
The clinic boasts a strong team of seven nurses, including mental health nurses and treatment room nurses. Software used includes BP for clinical records and Pracsoft for billing and appointment scheduling.
Allied health professionals on site include podiatrists, dieticians, diabetes educators, counsellors, physiotherapists, and exercise physiologists. Visiting specialists include cardiologists and urologists.
