About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Germanus Kent House in Broome.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our clients and contribute to their well-being. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centered therapeutic programs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a team. You will also have a strong commitment to person-centered care and be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.


Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership to assistant staff to deliver activity and therapy programs
* Communication with the care team to enhance the wellbeing of residents

Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our team supporting our clients at Germanus Kent House in Broome.

Germanus Kent House is at the heart of the Broome community and features a modern, state-of-the-art facility, incorporating the natural beauty and vibrant culture of the Kimberley region into its design.

As a Southern Cross Care WA OT, you will have a passion for working in partnership with older people and for developing and delivering person-centered therapeutic programs.

This is a permanent part-time position offering 45 hours per fortnight, worked over 3 days per week.

We'll also be asking you to:

* Deliver high-quality OT services to our clients and residents
* Lead assistant staff to deliver activity and therapy programs
* Communicate effectively with the care team to enhance the wellbeing of residents
* Contribute to quality improvements in allied health and the residential service
* Comply with Allied Health and Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
