We are seeking a construction supervisor with strong leadership skills to manage high-impact water and wastewater infrastructure projects across scenic regions in Southeast Queensland and Northern Rivers NSW.
This role may involve drive-in, drive-out arrangements depending on project location, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
About the Role
* The supervisor will conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
* Coordinate subcontractors and manage site teams including labor and supervision.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Maintain daily records, assist with cost control, and track productivity.
* Liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders to uphold the company's reputation.
* Ensure WHS and environmental controls are implemented and monitored.
* Review subcontractor scopes and manage defect rectification.
* Participate in lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
About You - Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3+ years' experience supervising water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
* Demonstrate strong leadership in managing construction of treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs, and associated civil works.
* Can confidently interpret and work from hydraulic, structural, and civil drawings and specifications.
* Has a solid understanding of water industry standards, environmental compliance, and safety protocols.
* Is proactive, quality-driven, and focused on delivering outcomes within budget and timeframes.
* Communicates effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Comfortable using mobile apps and construction software for daily reporting and coordination.
