Catering Assistant Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dining experiences for our residents.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional resident meal service, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of meals.
* Collaborate with peers to maintain a positive and cooperative work environment.
* Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and residents.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for providing outstanding care and support to the elderly.
* Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – an advantage but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene protocols.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with experience interacting with diverse groups of people.
* Ability to build professional relationships with residents and their families.
* NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
