**Are you passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families? At Churches of Christ**, we are looking for a dedicated **Support Practitioner - Identified** to join our Children, Youth & Families team in Caboolture & Arana Hills.

In this **Identified** role, you'll be instrumental in delivering culturally safe, inclusive, and empowering services to First Nations communities, helping to break the cycle of over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in care.

**What You'll Do**:
- Provide case management and tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.
- Build strong community partnerships with agencies, carers, and families to create sustainable support networks.
- Deliver culturally inclusive programs that promote healing, resilience, and well-being.
**About You**:
- You are an** Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person**(a genuine occupational requirement under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991).
- You have a **degree qualification in social work, psychology, social science or a related discipline**(or equivalent level of expertise with more than 4 years' experience attained through previous appointments, service, and/or study, with a minimum Certificate III in Community Services, as approved by the State Manager or Operations Manager).
- You have **applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks**, including knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the **Child Protection Act 1999**.
- You have a **demonstrated ability to complete assessments for care** and a **deep understanding of the contemporary challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples**.
- You have** experience**in child protection, community services, or supporting vulnerable children and families.
- You possess** strong interpersonal skills**and the ability to work sensitively with diverse communities.
**Essential**:
- Possess a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children (Blue Card), Child Safety and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) - or the ability to acquire.
- Current driver's licence.
