We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer / AWS DevOps for a leading IT consulting client in Sydney.
This role will play a critical role in supporting the Cloud practice development and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud -based solutions for our clients, including leading banks, ASX -listed companies, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design,
build, and maintain cloud -based solutions using AWS technologies.
2. Provide
expertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices, including CI/CD
pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation.
3. Participate
in the design and development of cloud -based solutions, working closely
with other teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and business
objectives.
4. Manage,
monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and
scalability.
5. Collaborate
with stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are designed with
security, reliability, and scalability in mind.
6. Provide
technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
7. Keep
up -to -date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology.

8. Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
9. A
minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a
strong focus on AWS.
10. Hands -on
experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and
CloudFormation.
11. Strong
knowledge of automation and scripting languages, such as Python and
Terraform.
12. Knowledge
of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
13. Experience
with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration and delivery.
14. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
effectively in a team environment.
15. Ability
to work in a fast -paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on
delivering results.
