The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Secondary English & Humanities Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. In this role, you'll foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning in students, while delivering high-quality programs that align with the Queensland and Australian Curricula.

What You'll Do
* Plan and deliver engaging English and Humanities programs (Years 7–12)
* Foster a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Use data and assessment to enhance student progress and achievement
* Provide constructive, timely feedback to students and parents
* Collaborate with colleagues to enrich teaching practice and curriculum design
* Participate in the School's co-curricular and pastoral care programs
* Engage in ongoing professional learning and development
What You'll Bring
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
* Registration (or eligibility) with the Qld College of Teachers
* Experience teaching English and/or Humanities at a secondary level
* Deep understanding of the Australian Curriculum (Years 7–10) and QCAA syllabuses (Years 11–12)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proficiency in the use of ICT to support learning
* A commitment to collaboration, innovation, and student-centred teaching
