Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join its Senior Leadership Team based in Katherine. This pivotal role is responsible for leading Council's financial management, governance, and long-term sustainability. Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services & Sustainability, the Finance Manager provides high-level financial advice to Council and Executive Management, oversees statutory and financial reporting, and ensures strong financial governance, risk management, and compliance while supporting asset management and capital works planning.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing Finance team and play a key role in annual budget development and long-term financial planning. You will be CPA or CA qualified with extensive senior finance experience (ideally 10+ years), bring a strong background in the public sector or a large corporate environment, and demonstrate proven leadership, analytical capability, and effective stakeholder engagement skills.
