The Role
Full‐time Practice Nurse Manager – Ballarat VIC. Responsibilities include managing daily treatment‐room operations, nursing services, and leading a dedicated team of nurses. The role involves close collaboration with the Practice Manager and GPs to coordinate clinical services, manage workflow, and maintain a high‐performing setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a skilled nursing team, fostering growth and delivering clinical excellence.
- Oversee treatment‐room efficiency and safety, ensuring optimal staffing and smooth workflows.
- Ensure compliance with clinical safety and quality standards, maintaining the practice's reputation as a trusted healthcare hub.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to analyse performance metrics and strategically allocate resources.
- Partner with GPs to support comprehensive health assessments, care plans, and chronic disease management.
- Maintain positive professional relationships with patients, staff, and team members, contributing to a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
- Champion workplace health and safety by participating in safety initiatives, promptly reporting incidents or hazards, and fostering a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team‐management experience.
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and delegate appropriately.
- Passion for patient‐centred care and a personable approach.
