Job Opportunity: Experienced Cleaners Needed at Curtis Island
We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as cleaners. As a cleaner, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised environment for the team and residents.
Responsibilities:
* Cleaning offices, first aid room, ablution/shower blocks, and lunch/crib rooms
* Rubbish removal and restocking of lunch rooms & kitchenettes
* Chemical handling and adherence to safety procedures
* General cleaning and maintenance of communal areas
Requirements:
* Previous cleaning experience, ideally in an industrial environment (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work flexible hours per day
* Physically fit to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport (early hours ferry commute required)
* Previous experience in bus driving, highly desirable (and associated qualifications)
* Gladstone local (preferred), no FIFO
