**The Opportunity**:
- Lithgow City Council _has an exciting opportunity for a **Hiab Operator** to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.
Reporting to the Works Coordinator - Urban, you will be responsible for the pickup and set down of materials, including motor vehicle transport. The position is also responsible for the loading and unloading of goods to jobsites as directed.
More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Maintain truck including;
- Performing daily tyre checks
- Performing equipment safety checks
- Performing brake safety checks
- Checking oil and coolant levels
- Operate Hiab truck to load/unload and transport equipment including;
- Operating mobile crane
- Completing log book
- Organising loads
- Loading material using lift tray

**About you**:
- HR Drivers Licence
- WH&S Induction for Construction Work (White Card)
- Experience in Tilt tray Operations
- Experience in Hiab Crane Operations
- Experience in securing loads through use of tie downs and chains
- Traffic Control Ticket - Traffic Controller
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of honesty and integrity
- Traffic Control Ticket
- Implement Traffic Control Plans
- First Aid Certificate
- Construction plant tickets (backhoe, loader, forklift etc.)
