We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead a small team across our childcare sites in Ballarat and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and is committed to maintaining high cleaning standards across multiple sites.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for supervising a small team of cleaners while also performing cleaning duties to ensure all sites are maintained to a consistently high standard. The role requires you to be proactive, organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Duties include:
* Supervising and supporting a team of cleaners
* Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and detailed surface cleaning
* Window cleaning, bin removal, and restocking consumables
* Conducting quality checks to maintain company standards
* Liaising with the Area Manager as required
* Assisting with staff coordination and occasional shift coverage
* Replenishing stock across sites
* Completing additional cleaning tasks as required by contract needs
Essential Requirements (MUST Have)
✅ Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory/team leader role (commercial cleaning)
✅ Valid Working With Children Check
✅ Current Driver’s Licence
✅ Current National Police Check

Position Details

* Hourly rate negotiable based on experience
