About the Role:
The Central Sterilizing Unit requires a skilled and dedicated individual to support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in overseeing sterile supply workflow.
This role will involve optimizing resource utilization within the unit using the T-Doc Sterile Supply Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fulfilling responsibilities as outlined in Schedule 2, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) - Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 1 Band 2
* Providing nursing and midwifery team support for delegated actions in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Decision Making Framework
* Functioning in accordance with legislation to provide a safe and relevant environment for individuals and groups
* Contributing to the effective coordination of sterilization services for the Central Sterilizing Unit
