The Boat Shed is a popular a la carte restaurant perched on the edge of the Maroochy River at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast renowned for our quality food and service and amazing views.
A trade qualified experienced chef
* Minimum 2 years experience as qualifed chef
* Proficient cooking ability in all sections of the kitchen - pans, grill, larder, fryers, desserts
* Specifically seeking Pan and Grill superstars
* Preparation of proteins, salads, sauces for service
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Trade Qualified
* Receiving of deliveries and checking quality and quantities are correct
* Assist in menu planning, ordering and quality of dishes are maintained
* Follow all food health and safety regulations
* Plating and presenting meals as per chef and managements direction
* Food design for specials
* Availability over weekends and evenings a must
* Direct junior staff
