Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care in clinical areas and serve as a resource for specialized teams.
* Work within Alcohol and Drug policies to provide services to Pharmacotherapy and Inpatient Withdrawal Unit patients, dispensing and dosing medications daily.
* Dispense medications for patients discharged from Inpatient Withdrawal Units.
* Provide information and education to staff and clients on Consumer Medication Information.
This specialist pharmacist role will operate across a multi-disciplinary work environment, focusing on alcohol and drug pharmacotherapies, including daily medication management and inpatient withdrawal support. The position is available for approximately 12 months, with flexible hours negotiated with the team.
Required Qualifications:
* Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
* For pre-registration (intern) pharmacists: Eligibility for provisional registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
