We are adding another resource to our team. As Industry Sales Manager, you will be based out of a home office in Australia. The role covers Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, with travel required up to 50%.

The job

As Industry Sales Manager – Feed, you will be responsible for selling instrumentation to food producing, food processing, and agricultural accounts within FOSS Market Segments. You will play a key role in driving revenue, building customer relationships, and contributing to our mission of smarter food production.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Managing overall sales performance in your territory while ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting budget targets.
- Collaborating with your team to achieve segment goals and support strategic initiatives.
- Developing and executing sales strategies for Key Accounts and National Accounts.
- Creating and managing a territory plan with measurable goals and timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM system (Salesforce) including sales calls, quotations, and proposals.
- Providing market insights on competition, pricing, and product development.
- Representing FOSS at local and national tradeshows.

Professional and personal competences

If you are the right profile for the job, we imagine that you can say yes to having:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in capital equipment or technical instrumentation.
- Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales revenue targets.
- Experience within the feed/grain/milling industry, particularly in processing or quality.
- A science, business, or engineering degree — or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong planning skills, teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Experience in cross-selling and value-based selling.

Since you will be visiting our customers, a valid driver’s license is needed for this role.

Work permit or permanent residency in Australia and fluency in English is a requirement for this role.
