OverviewRural Products Sales Manager role leading a retail team focused on tailored merchandise solutions and sales growth across the Goulburn Valley/Shepparton region.
You will prioritise business development, stakeholder engagement and aligning strategy with opportunity, working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide practical, seasonally relevant solutions.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing day-to-day retail operations, analysing sales trends, and contributing to long-term business growth.
You will report to senior and warehouse management and help align sales strategy with established and emerging markets.ResponsibilitiesLead, develop and support a retail sales team to deliver on business and customer goalsDrive sales and identify recent business opportunities across rural merchandise categoriesBuild and maintain strong B2B relationships with local producers and agribusiness clientsAnalyse seasonal trends and ensure product availability aligns with local needsManage stock, merchandising and compliance with safety and handling standardsOversee retail operations to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused environmentAbout YouDemonstrated experience in retail management and rural merchandise operationsA strong background in business development and stakeholder relationship managementProven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach and lead a teamSolid understanding of rural products, including animal health and crop protectionThe ability to interpret sales data and trends to inform localised strategiesA current driver's licence (essential) and forklift licence (desirable)About AIRRAIRR is proud to be part of Elders, the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
