Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support local employers in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for building close relationships with local businesses, understanding their workforce needs, and providing tailored solutions to support them in hiring individuals with disabilities.
About the Role:
* Collaborate with local teams to identify and develop new employer relationships.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of the local labour market and emerging industries.
* Proactively identify opportunities to adapt business processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs.
About You:
* Relevant qualifications in Employment Services or Community Services.
* Previous experience in employment services, business development, account management, or sales.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and network successfully.
* A performance-driven mindset and proven track record of achieving business targets and key performance indicators.
* A valid driver's license is required as regular travel throughout the region will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Supporting employers in the Ipswich region through collaboration with local teams.
* Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the local labour market and emerging industries.
* Identifying and developing new employer relationships proactively.
* Helping employers adapt their processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs.
* Engaging job-ready candidates and matching them with employers through referrals and job carving.
* Working closely with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to build opportunities in relevant industries.
* Achieving or exceeding all key performance indicators (KPIs) while adopting an outcome-focused approach.
