We are currently looking for a skilled Service Technician - Irrigation to join our team working at our Griffith branch.

You will also bring hands-on technical experience with large-scale irrigation systems and/or pump installation and repairs, along with a solid understanding of safe work practices and equipment maintenance.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience operating machinery such as excavators.
- Background in irrigation.
- Knowledge of large-scale irrigation systems, building, commissioning, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing.
- Installing and repairing pumps and filter systems
- Ability to read and follow design plans and manufacturer instructions.
Further training in the above areas can be provided for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Licences:
- A current manual driver's licence.
- A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain on the job).
- A certificate of competency to operate machinery (excavation, trencher etc.) - or willingness to obtain on the job.
- Desirable, but not required-
- Certificate III/IV in Irrigation.
- Disconnect/Reconnect licence.
Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and components, including pumps, filters, valves, and solenoids.
- Assist with and/or carry out manufacturing tasks such as pump and valve assembly, butt fusion and poly welding, controller assembly, manifold and suction manufacture, and hydraulic valve and pilot systems.
- Undertake installation, servicing, commissioning, and handover of irrigation projects and service works.
- Liaise with customers and RWE personnel to develop and deliver tailored servicing programs.
- Operate machinery and equipment (where appropriately trained and competent).
- Maintain and service RWE plant, tools, and equipment.
- Manage stock levels and order replacement parts as required.
- Provide customers with cost estimates and updates when requested.
- Interpret and apply irrigation designs, including understanding application rates.
- Accurately complete service reports and job sheets for all works, ensuring all labour, materials, plant, and consumables are recorded in line with the Integrated Management System.
- Comply with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, starting at 7am with flexibility in finish times, plus reasonable overtime.
