Swimming Coach Position
The Swimming Coach will be a key team member of the dynamic and fast-paced Aquatics Team.
About the Position
The role involves assisting with the operations of the swimming pool, ensuring smooth daily operations in cooperation with the Director of Aquatics.
This is a full-time position based at our senior campus, requiring flexibility for early morning, evening, and weekend shifts. The successful applicant will oversee an assistant coach and a team of staff.
The Swimming Coach reports to the Director of Aquatics.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (Sports Coaching) and swim coaching accreditation (Swimming Australia Silver/Gold Level),
* Experience in developing and implementing a training and competition plan for young athletes,
* Strong communication and team-focused skills,
* Good ICT skills and willingness to learn sport-specific software platforms,
* Understanding and adherence to child safeguarding policies,
* Commitment to continuous improvement of child safeguarding.
Additionally, you will require:
* Current and valid Working With Children Check,
* First Aid/CPR certification,
* Current Driver's Licence.
