About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to join our team, supporting the delivery of accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Your tasks will include:
* End-to-end payroll processing, including wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions, plus timesheet validation
* Managing employee lifecycle changes - commencements, variations, and terminations (including final pays)
* Overseeing compliance obligations such as superannuation, payroll tax, and STP reporting
* Maintaining payroll data integrity and systems while handling queries and supporting employees and stakeholders

Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll or related role
* Exposure to the Building & Construction Award (MA000020) highly regarded
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, EBAs, and compliance requirements
* High attention to detail with strong numerical and calculation skill
* Excellent communication skills and ability to handle enquiries professionally
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
