The Role
As our Compliance Electrician, you'll ensure all electrical systems, installations, and equipment meet current electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
This role involves supplying electrical inspecting, testing and compliance checks at various client sites across the manufacturing industry. Great variety of sites around Melbourne Metro area. Company car supplied
Please note this role will require occassional weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thermal imaging and RCD testing to ensure electrical safety
* Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and reports
* Support audits, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Carry out break down repairs through fault find diagnostic methodologies including electrical repairs including high speed packaging machinery.
* Installation, assembly and modification of equipment.
* PLC and safety systems and instrumentation.
* Drive and deliver on improvements in machine efficiency, utilization and safety.
* General maintenance to improve factory performance.
About You
The successful applicant will have the following to be considered for the role:
* Qualified Licensed Electrician.
* Thermal Imaging Certification.
* Strong knowledge of electrical compliance standards and regulations.
* Prior experience in Industrial environments.
* Demonstrable diagnostic and fault finding skills.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers delivering exception client service.
