Gloria Jeans Cafe is hiring a Casual Cafe Allrounder role in North Mackay, QLD. Apply now to be part of our team. This is an immediate start position. Must be available for early morning starts (5:30am) and weekend shifts.
Job summary
15 hours per week. Casual Award Rates as well as Weekend rates. No experience required for this role; experience an advantage.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday 5:30am – 4:30pm
- Saturday 6:30am – 12:30pm
- Sunday 7:00am – 12:00pm
Who we are looking for
We are a small team, so if you are an enthusiastic team player who enjoys being in a fast-paced environment, we would be happy for you to join our GJ team. Barista experience is a huge advantage but not essential. We will provide training for all suitable candidates.
Essential skills
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to work in quick-paced environments
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of and the serving of all meals and beverages to customers, always ensuring great customer service.
- Check stock levels and replenish when necessary.
- Ensure the café/restaurant is presented to a high standard throughout the day and carry out a thorough cleaning at the end of the day.
- Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required.
