As we continue to welcome visitors to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we are seeking several friendly and experienced **Casual Retail Assistants** to join our retail team to support and deliver amazing guest service and support our financial goals.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Retail and Photography Manager, you will deliver knowledgeable and friendly visitor service and achieve daily sales targets through excellent product knowledge.
As a highly autonomous individual, you will actively engage with visitors in a friendly and helpful manner to deliver efficient and friendly service and maximise sales opportunities and through storytelling of our conservation and environmental endeavours.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary operates four fast-paced retail outlets and vending outposts during peak Season, and you may work in any of these locations due to visitor demand and also support our Photography department as required.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will excellent communication and customer service skills and experience in a similar role. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude and excellent personal presentation
- Reliable and adaptable and ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and handle visitor requests with urgency
- Demonstrate an awareness & commitment to controlling shrinkage, stock control & accuracy in stock audit methods and experience with cash handling.
- Able to work efficiently with solid time management skills and display our Organisation Values '" Welcoming, Efficiency, Safety & Fun!
