Sharp & Carter is partnering with a growing allied health provider to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to support the expansion of community-based services across Brisbane.
This organisation delivers evidence-based allied health support to older Australians in their homes, focusing on independence, quality of life, and coordinated care.
With established services across multiple states and continued national growth, this is an exciting opportunity to join at an early stage in Sydney and step into a senior role with leadership progression as the local team expands.
The Role
This position combines advanced clinical practice, team support, and service development, working with clients in the community to deliver high-quality occupational therapy services.
Clinical Responsibilities
* Assess and manage client needs, providing expert advice and treatment options
* Deliver evidence-based interventions using advanced clinical reasoning
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and clinical standards
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
* Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs
* Identify opportunities for service improvement and quality enhancement
* Develop training and educational materials for partner organisations
* Participate in ongoing professional development
Team Support
* Mentor and support Occupational Therapists in delivering client-centred care
* Provide feedback and assist with performance development
* Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new clinicians
* Assist with ensuring compliance requirements across the team
Service & Organisational Growth
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training initiatives
* Support continuous improvement of clinical processes
* Assist with the growth of services across the Sydney region

About You
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
* Ideally minimum 4 years' clinical experience
* Current AHPRA registration
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a vehicle
* Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage a community-based caseload
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Passion for delivering meaningful client outcomes
