Environmental Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineer to join our team. As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the environmental outcomes for future generations.
1. The successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of civil-environmental projects for government and private sector clients, working as part of a supportive team from concept design to construction.

* You will assist in preparing detailed designs for containment facilities, including civil components like earthworks, geosynthetic lining systems, and drainage.
* You will manage field staff conducting third-party quality inspections during construction.
* You will maintain regular liaison with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors; prepare factual and interpretive reports.
* You will utilize digital skills to support project delivery.
* You will collaborate with other technical practices such as geospatial, risk assessment, hydrogeology, environmental auditing, waste management, contaminated land, landfill gas, and field technical practices to develop integrated solutions.
* You will show initiative in learning and developing within a multi-disciplinary environment.
What We Are Looking For
* Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* Understanding of earthwork design and construction.
* Knowledge of design and construction using geosynthetic materials.
* Ability to apply a risk-based approach to problem solving.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Lateral thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
* Passion for civil/environmental engineering, especially in waste and contaminated land sectors.
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
* Experience in ground engineering is desirable.
* Interest in developing expertise in ground engineering disciplines like geosynthetics and water management.
* CPEng / NER / RPEV status (or close to attaining) preferred.
* Valid Australian Driver's License.
* Willingness to attend sites to support projects.
