About the Role
As Senior Foreman, you will play a key leadership role on site, driving daily operations and working closely with the Site Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, on program and to the highest quality standards.
You will take ownership of site performance while being supported by an experienced and collaborative project team.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities
* Maintain construction sequencing and contribute to the master program
* Plan short-term works and manage daily site logistics
* Schedule materials and equipment to meet program requirements
* Deliver works in line with deadlines and budgets
* Ensure construction aligns with drawings, specifications and quality standards
* Identify and manage site risks, including completing risk assessments
* Maintain detailed site diaries and provide daily/weekly progress reporting and forecasts
* Communicate effectively with clients, consultants and stakeholders
* Mentor and develop site personnel to foster a high-performing culture
* Ensure full compliance with WHS legislation, Building Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice
What We're Looking For
* Trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction
* QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (advantageous)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Senior-level building and construction experience
* Proven ability to manage multiple trades and complex sequencing
* Strong knowledge of Building legislation and Codes of Practice
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience delivering Education and/or Commercial or Industrial projects highly regarded
* High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety and quality
