is a truck parts retailer owned by PACCAR Australia. TRP stores aim to provide high levels of customer service and support for owners of all-makes of trucks and trailers including popular PACCAR owned truck brands - Kenworth and DAF.
Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, proactive and outcome focused Store Supervisor to lead the TRP Store team to provide excellent customer service in relation to parts sales and supply. This role will utilize your negotiation, leadership and stakeholder management skills whether it be assisting the internal sales staff to make deals, developing the team to deliver excellent customer service or building strong customer relationships to ensure future sales success. The Supervisor will manage store budgets and the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations in alignment with company policies and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service for enquiries via counter, telephone, and email.
Assist internal sales staff to facilitate deal closures and enhance sales.
Manage and mentor team members, providing ongoing constructive feedback and training.
Conduct annual Employee Development Reviews and address performance needs.
Actively promote monthly and quarterly specials and new products to customers.
Collaborate on customer events and sales & marketing initiatives
Handle administration tasks including order processing, invoicing, and cycle counts.
Maintain an organized and clean store environment, ensuring stock availability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company conduct guidelines.
Engage with external clients to build relationships and promote product offerings.
Support the Parts Manager in achieving KPI targets and sales goals.
Collaborate with management on special projects as required.
Exhibit a hands-on approach by working alongside the team, actively demonstrating the importance of teamwork and resourcefulness in achieving store goals.
About You
Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a customer-focused mindset.
Minimum of 3 years in retail or parts sales, with a strong emphasis on customer service and team development.
Excellent planning and organisation skills with a strong attention to detail Parts Interpretation experience (3 -5 years)
MS Office Suite (Advanced, 10+ years)
Inventory Management Software (Intermediate, 5-9 years)
CRM Systems (Intermediate, 5-9 years)
Forklift license would be advantageous
Formal education: High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in business or management is advantageous.
