As part of its strategic growth, the organisation is seeking a commercially astute National Business Manager to lead its Early Learning segment, managing key strategic accounts that operate with procurement models similar to large-scale retail and FMCG customers.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Sales, this role will drive customer engagement and strategic account management across major early education groups. You will be responsible for:
* Developing and executing long-term strategic account plans.
* Leading quarterly business reviews and performance tracking against service agreements.
* Identifying growth opportunities and expanding share of wallet.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
* Supporting new site developments and refurbishments with forward planning and resource alignment.
* Acting as the 2iC to the General Manager – Sales, with a clear succession pathway.
Key Product Categories include: Arts & Crafts, Babies & Toddlers, Pretend & Play, Early Literacy and Educational Furniture.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a National Business Manager or Senior Key Account Manager role within a product-based sales environment.
* Background in FMCG or Consumer Goods, with an understanding of structured procurement and retail buying behaviours.
* Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a hands-on approach to customer service and fulfilment.
* Ability to leverage insights and analytics to drive performance and identify opportunities.
* Previous people leadership experience and readiness to step into a senior leadership role.
