Job Overview
We're looking for an energetic and service-driven Wheels Captain (Valet Supervisor) to lead our valet team and create unforgettable first and last impressions for our guests. As part of our Rooms division, you will oversee daily valet operations, ensuring seamless guest arrivals and departures while upholding the bold, luxury service standards W Sydney is known for. This is a hands‐on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, guest‐focused environment and loves leading a team to deliver exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities
* Create warm, engaging, and memorable arrival and departure experiences
* Personally handle VIP guests, special requests, and service recovery
* Set the tone for outstanding guest interaction and satisfaction
* Oversee traffic flow, vehicle handling, and efficient parking operations
* Monitor vehicle retrieval times and continuously improve performance
* Supervise, mentor, and motivate valet attendants on shift
* Run daily briefings and ensure consistent service standards
* Ensure seamless coordination of guest arrival and departure experiences
Requirements
* Previous experience in valet, concierge, or front-of-house hotel operations
* Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
* Full driver's licence (manual & automatic)
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication and guest service skills
