Mechanical Plant Technician
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the installation, maintenance and repairs of mechanical plant and equipment in our factory and upcoming site.
The key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out effective installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
* Developing, executing and reporting on scheduled maintenance and condition monitoring programs.
* Monitoring the reliability and operational performance of mechanical plant and equipment.
* Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
* Ensuring all mechanical works comply with current legislation, codes and standards.
About You:
* You should be a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent) with post-trade qualifications in pneumatics and hydraulics.
* Proven experience of 15+ years in installation, maintenance and repairs within a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
* Familiarity with compliance requirements, including safety and environmental standards, is essential.
* A proactive mindset, effective communication skills and strong team player qualities are necessary.
