Our care model is built on empowerment, partnership, and advocacy for older people, respecting individuality and striving for equality and social justice. We employ more than 1,000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania. Our Head Office provides the strategic direction and support services for Wintringham’s residential, housing, community care and NDIS services. Your new role Our People and Culture team plays a vital role in enabling safe, inclusive and high performing workplaces that support our commitment to social justice. We are seeking an experienced and values driven People Partner to join our team. As a key member of the People and Culture team, you will partner closely with leaders to embed Wintringham’s values and behaviours in everyday practice and strengthen people management capability across the organisation. As a trusted advisor, you will provide practical, solution focused guidance across the employee lifecycle, ensuring advice aligns with operational needs, organisational strategy, governance requirements and our commitment to social justice. Through coaching, early intervention and capability development, you will contribute to positive employee engagement, inclusive workplaces and strong organisational performance. Your duties and responsibilities will also include (but are not limited to): Partnering with leaders to implement strategy and deliver workforce outcomes, cultural objectives and performance targets. Providing expert advice across employee relations, investigations, workforce planning, organisational design, remuneration and change management. Developing and continuously improving people policies, procedures and governance practices, including accurate employee screening and workforce data integrity. Contributing to workforce planning, recruitment, retention and talent initiatives, while supporting P&C projects, reporting and continuous improvement. About you You are a confident and credible People and Culture professional who thrives in a partnering model and is motivated by contributing to meaningful, values driven work grounded in social justice. You will bring: Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience across the employee lifecycle, including employee relations and compliance with employment legislation. A strong commitment to social justice, equity and inclusive workplace practices. Proven ability to coach and influence leaders, manage complex and sensitive matters, and build trusted stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical and problem solving capability, with sound judgement and the ability to deliver practical, sustainable solutions while maintaining high standards of governance and confidentiality.
