Job Description
- Manage financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including NOI variance analysis and CAPEX forecasts
- Maintain and reconcile property balance sheets and fixed asset registers
- Business partnering - Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Support group reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Property Accountant should have:
- Commercial Property experience is ESSENTIAL
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- CPA/CA qualified
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or retail property accounting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities - ability to translate finance to non-finance stakeholders and vice versa
- Experience with property management systems
