Job Opportunity: Consultant Rheumatologist
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Rheumatologist to join our team in Northern Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine specialist practice with leadership in service design and delivery.
This position involves providing comprehensive outpatient services across Northern Tasmania, as well as inpatient consultations where required. You will lead specialist Rheumatology clinics and coordinate patient care, provide expert advice and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care, mentor and supervise postgraduate trainees, and contribute to medical student teaching through the University of Tasmania.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to departmental research, clinical governance, and service development initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and excellence in patient care.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive outpatient services across Northern Tasmania

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent recognised overseas specialist qualification
* Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
* Demonstrated experience in clinical service delivery, teaching, and research within Rheumatology
